The recently introduced range of Al- fabiotech isobaric hose is one of the latest product developments in the ALFAGOMMA portfolio. The Alfabio- tech range, specially designed for Bio oil full compatibility, has an exception- al performance in terms of flexibility: bend radius values are reduced by up to 50% compared to the SAE 100R stand- ard. Alfabiotech is the ideal choice for construction and mining equipment and in general demanding applications where machinery requires a highly ef- ficient hydraulic power transmission system. The flexibility of the product is a plus in the assembly and installation. The MINETUFF cover is MSHA certified and developed to guarantee an abra- sion resistance 10 times higher than re- quired by the International standards. Over the next few months the new smooth cover hydraulic hos- es will be gradually introduced in wire braided – diameters up to DN 25 – 1” and wire spiral – diameters up to DN 25 – 1”. ALFAGOMMA is re- sponding to customers’ demands for a hose that offers a “lower-drag” coef- ficient particularly on equipment like cranes with extending jibs, where hoses are required to move lateral- ly as the jib extends and contracts.
