DEUTSCHLANDMit den Weltleitmes-
sen electronica und
productronica ist
München jährlich im
Herbst der globale Dreh- und
Angelpunkt der Elektronikindus-
trie.
Ab 2017 findet die SEMICON Eu-
ropa, die europäische Plattform für
die Halbleiterfertigungsindustrie,
im Verbund mit den beiden Messen
statt. Erstmals zur productronica
vom 14. bis 17. November 2017.
Falk Senger, Geschäftsführer der
Messe München, fasst die Tragwei-
te dieser Entscheidung zusammen:
„Mit diesem Schritt wächst nicht
nur die Bedeutung Münchens als
jährliches Zentrum der interna-
tionalen Elektronikindustrie. Wir
stärken damit zudem die globale
Ausrichtung der electronica und
der productronica.“
Denny McGuirk, Vorsitzender der
Geschäftsführung SEMI, ergänzt:
„Die Kombination der SEMICON Eu-
ropa mit productronica und elec-
tronica passt optimal zu unserer
Strategie, das breite Angebot der
weltweiten Wertschöpfungskette
im Bereich Elektronikfertigung zu
vereinen.“
Die enge Verzahnung der Se-
micon Europe mit der electroni-
ca, Weltleitmesse für Systeme,
Komponenten und Anwendungen
der Elektronik, beziehungsweise
productronica, Weltleitmesse für
Entwicklung und Fertigung von
Elektronik, bietet den Messebesu-
chern ab 2017 ein noch größeres
Informationsangebot. Als jährli-
che Veranstaltung fokussiert die
SEMICON Europa alles rund um die
Halbleiterfertigung.

SEMICON Europa will co-
locate with productron-
ica and electronica (alternating
years) in Munich, Germany.
For the first time, the co-located
events (productronica and SEMICON
Europa) will be held next year (No-
vember 14–17, 2017), creating the
strongest single event for electron-
ics manufacturing in Europe, and
broadening the range of attendees
across the electronics supply chain.
productronica, the World's lead-
ing trade fair for electronics devel-
opment and production, and elec-
tronica, the World’s leading trade
fair for electronic components, sys-
tems and applications, will now of-
fer attendees an extended platform.
With the inclusion of SEMICON
Europa, which is focused on the
electronics manufacturing supply
chain and largely the semiconduc-
tor manufacturing, the co-located
events will expand attendee op-
portunities to exchange ideas and
promote technological progress.
Falk Senger, managing director of

global orientation of electronica
and productronica, in addition to
reinforcing the importance of Mu-
nich as one of the epicenters of the
international electronics industry.”
