Die über 115.000 Quadratmeter Hallenfläche, auf die die Intergastra mit dem Bau der neuen Messehalle 10 (Paul Horn Halle) wächst, waren weitgehend gebucht, so dass in eini- gen Themenhallen Wartelisten aufge- baut wurden. „Die Intergastra 2018 erfreut sich einer starken Nachfrage. Es zeichnete sich ab, dass wir trotz Flächenwachstum an unsere Kapazi- tätsgrenze kommen werden. Die gute Buchungslage spiegelt den optimisti- schen Blick der Branche und die gute Konjunkturlage wider – auch wenn die Rahmenbedingungen teilweise schwieriger geworden sind“, sagt Messegeschäftsführer Ulrich Kromer von Baerle. „Wir freuen uns, dass wir mit der Erweiterung des Messe- geländes um die Paul Horn Halle (Halle 10) den über 1.400 erwarteten Intergastra-Ausstellern mehr Aus- stellungsfläche und den Besuchern ein noch vielfältigeres und breiteres Angebot bieten können“, so Kromer von Baerle. Ein wesentlicher Faktor für die Erfolgsgeschichte der Intergastra in den letzten Jahren ist das facetten- reiche Angebot der Veranstaltung. Fokus Hotel, Stuttgart Coffee Sum- mit, Innovationspreis, die Gründer- plattform Newcome, verschiedene Wettbewerbe, ein breit gefächertes DEHOGA-Bühnenprogramm mit Diskussionen und Vorträgen – die Liste der Sonderflächen und Rah- menprogrammpunkte während der Intergastra ist lang. The hall area of more than 115,000 square metres, on which Intergastra is expanding through the construction of the new exhibi- tion hall 10 (Paul Horn Hall), is al- most fully booked up with the result that there were waiting lists in some theme halls. "Intergastra 2018 is enjoying strong demand. It can al- ready be seen that we are reaching our capacity limits despite the in- creased amount of exhibition space. The good booking situation reflects the optimistic outlook in the indus- try and the good economic environ- ment – even though the framework conditions have become more diffi- cult at times," said Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, President of Messe Stuttgart. "We are pleased that the expansion of the trade fair grounds through the Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10) is enabling us to offer more exhibition space to the round 1,400 expected Intergastra exhibitors and an even more diverse and broader programme to visitors," said Kromer von Baerle. One significant factor for the suc- cess story of Intergastra in recent years is the wide-ranging event pro- gramme, .
