Diverse Beispiele aus der Zulie- ferindustrie demonstrieren auf der HANNOVER MESSE, wie in Zeiten von Digitalisierung und Vernetzung neue Partnerschaften und bessere Lösungen entstehen. Die Indust- rial Supply schließt mit der Halle 5 somit auch thematisch direkt an den Bereich Digital Factory in Hal- le 6 an. Dort ist unter anderem die Zusammenarbeit von IT-Konzernen und Industrieunternehmen eines der zentralen Themen – ob beim Einsatz von Künstlicher Intelligenz oder dem Aufbau industrieller IT- Plattformen. Die internationale CeMAT Port Technology Conference findet am 25. April 2018 von 10.00 bis 16.30 Uhr im Rahmen der CeMAT statt. Internationale Referenten zei- gen die Potenziale durchgängig digitaler Prozesse für Häfen auf, berichten über den Status quo und stellen in der Praxis erprobte Lösungen vor. Erwartet werden rund 150 Besucher. Die Teilnah- me ist für die Besucher der Ce- MAT und der HANNOVER MESSE kostenfrei. Leistungsfähige See- und Binnenhäfen sind bedeutende Schnittstellen im intermodalen Verkehr für Industrie und Handel. Nach Einschätzung von Experten aus der Industrie und der Verkehrs- wirtschaft fallen 40 bis 50 Prozent der Kosten internationaler und in- terkontinentaler Transporte in den Häfen an. HANNOVER MESSE 2018 will demonstrate the role of digitiza- tion and integration in creating new and improved supply solu- tions. In terms of content "Industrial Supply" in Hall 5 is the ideal complement to "Digital Facto- ry" in Hall 6. In both cases the spotlight will be on collabora- tion between IT companies and manufacturing enterprises – for example, in the area of artificial intelligence and the creation of industrial IT platforms. Staged within the context of CeMAT, the international CeMAT Port Technology Conference makes its debut on 25 April 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Speakers from around the world will high- light the potential of continuous digital processes for ports, report- ing on the current situation and presenting tried and tested solu- tions.
