Packaging & Pro- cessing Solutions“ widmet die iba Verpackungslösun- gen, -materialien und -pro- zessen einen eigenen großen Bereich in Halle B1. Ein ansprechendes Äuße- res ist nicht alles, gerade im Lebensmittelbereich ist eine gesunde, hygienische und sichere Verpackung ebenso entscheidend. Auf der iba prä- sentieren über 180 Firmen Lö- sungen und Neuheiten in Sa- chen Verpackungstechnik und -material, davon über 50 Aus- steller gebündelt auf der Flä- che „iba.OPERATE! Packaging & Processing Solutions“ in Halle B1. Dort dreht sich al- les um Verpackungslösungen, -prozesse und -materialien für Großbäckereien, Hersteller von Teiglingen, Handel, Süß- waren- und Zuliefererindust- rie. Besucher erhalten einen 360-Grad-Überblick über den Markt und seine Innovationen. „Nach der erfolgreichen Pre- miere auf der iba 2015 und dem sehr guten Feedback von Ausstellern und Besuchern, fassen wir Verpackungslösun- gen und -prozesse für Pro- dukte wie Brot, Gebäck, Süß- waren, Snacks, Pizza, Torten, Teiglinge, Kekse und Riegel auch diesmal auf einer Fläche zusammen“, erklärt iba-Pro- jektleiterin Claudia Weidner. „Auf iba.OPERATE! erhalten Besucher alle Informationen und finden dort die passenden Partner für ihr Unternehmen.“ In einem weltweiten Markt, in dem Logistik und Trans- port immer wichtiger werden, herrscht großer Bedarf an ge- eigneten Verpackungslösun- gen. Dabei müssen diese ge- rade im Bereich Lebensmittel zentrale Aufgaben erfüllen: Die Produkte sollen geschützt werden, frisch und haltbar bleiben und die Vorschriften zur Lebensmittelsicherheit müssen eingehalten werden. Daneben sollen die Prozesse effizient sein, denn bei hohen Stückzahlen ist Geschwindig- keit entscheidend. Besucher können sich auf viele Neuheiten freuen. So stellt ILAPAK seine neue Maschine für das horizonta- le Verpacken erstmals vor. Das Unternehmen, das Verpa- ckungslösungen stets unter Berücksichtigung der spezifi- schen Kundenanforderungen entwickelt, zeigt einige seiner Maschinen in Aktion. Bosch Packaging Technology stellt verschiedene Maschinen vor, u.a. einen Walzenfor- mer für die Riegelproduktion und eine horizontale Verpa- ckungslinie für Backwaren mit robotergestützter Zufüh- rung. Wesentliche Trends sei- en die zunehmend geforderte Flexibilität von Prozess- und Verpackungsmaschinen so- wie die Nachfrage nach Kom- plettlösungen für eine sanfte Produkthandhabung und hohe Lebensmittelsicherheit. Bosch Packaging Technology habe dabei stets die passenden Ant- worten, zum Beispiel auf die speziellen Herausforderungen von glutenfreien Backwaren. MULTIVAC präsentiert ein komplettes Portfolio an Lö- sungen für das Verpacken von Brot, Backwaren, Feingebäck und Snacks, darunter zwei Kammermaschinen, eine kom- pakte Tiefziehverpackungsma- schine und ein Traysealer. „In der Backwarenindustrie zeigt sich ein Trend weg von Tief- kühlprodukten hin zu MAP- Packungen“, so Tanja Nickels, Managerin Presse- und Öffent- lichkeitsarbeit bei MULTIVAC. Auf der ibawerden verschie- dene kompakte Maschinen- modelle zur Herstellung von MAP-Packungen gezeigt. Optimal packaging: iba.OPERATE! S ustainable, efficient, safe, fast and smart: With “iba.OPERATE! Packaging & Proces- sing Solutions”, iba is dedi- cating a large special section in hall B1 to packaging so- lutions, materials and pro- cesses. Everything here revolves around packaging solutions, processes and materials for wholesale bakeries, dough manufacturers, trade, and the confectionary and supply in- dustry. Visitors are guaranteed a 360° view of the market and its innovations. “After the successful pre- miere at iba 2015 and the very good feedback from exhibitors and visitors, we are once again going to bring together pack- aging solutions and processes for products such as bread, pastries, confectionery, snacks, pizza, toast, pies, frozen dough pieces, biscuits and cereal/ chocolate bars in one section,” explains Claudia Weidner, iba project manager. “iba.OPER- ATE! will provide visitors with all the information they need and help them find the right partners for their company.” In a global market in which logistics and transport are be- coming increasingly important, there is a very high demand for suitable packaging solutions. These are expected to fulfil key tasks, particularly in the food industry: They should offer am- ple protection to the products during transport, the products should remain fresh and well preserved, and the packag- ing must comply with all ap- plicable food safety and food hygiene regulations. In addi- tion, the packaging processes should also be efficient – be- cause speed is crucial at high volumes. Visitors can look forward to numerous novelties and pre- mieres. For instance, ILAPAK will be presenting its new horizontal flow wrapper for the first time. The company, which develops packaging solutions based on the requirements of its customers, will be showcas- ing its machine in action at its stand. Bosch Packaging Technology will be presenting various ma- chines, including a roller former for bar production and a flow wrapping line for pastries with a robotised feeder. The trend shows an increasing demand for flexibility of process and packaging machines as well as complete solutions that are optimised for gentle product handling and high food safety. The company always has the right answers e.g., to the spe- cial challenges presented by gluten-free pastries. Bosch has therefore developed a two-in- one biscuit packaging system to address this problem, a flow wrapper that is very gentle with the biscuits and that has significantly minimised waste. MULTIVAC will be presenting a complete range of solutions for packaging bread, bakery products, biscuits and snacks. In addition, the company will also present two chamber ma- chines, a compact thermoform- ing packaging machine and a tray sealer. “In the bakery in- dustry, there is a clear trend away from frozen products and towards MAP packs,” explains Tanja Nickels, Press and Public Relations Manager at MULTI- VAC. Various compact machine models for producing MAP packs will be presented at the trade fair. In addition to“iba.OPERATE!”, more packaging solutions will be exhibited in other halls and will range from baker’s bags to deco- rative packaging.
