8 FUTURE OFWORK IN INDUSTRY&WOMENPOWER TEXT&BILD: DEUTSCHEMESSE MESSEGELÄNDE,30521HANNOVER D ie HANNOVER MESSE steht in diesem Jahr unter dem Leitthe- ma "Industrial In- telligence" und meint damit insbesondere auch die digita- le Vernetzung von Menschen und Maschinen im Zeitalter der künstlichen Intelligenz. Am Messemittwoch, 3. April, kom- men daher auf der neuen Konferenz "Future of Work in Industry" rund 300 Experten, Vordenker und Füh- rungskräfte der Industrie zusammen, um über die Auswirkungen der Digi- talisierung auf Qualifikation und Or- ganisation der Arbeit zu diskutieren. Einen Tag später startet der etablier- te Frauenkongress WomenPower mit einem spannenden Programm rund um Karrierefragen, Erfolgsstrategien und innovative Arbeitsformen. Durch die fortschreitende Digitali- sierung und die damit einhergehen- den Auswirkungen auf Qualifikation und Organisation der Arbeit ergeben sich täglich neue Herausforderungen. Industrie 4.0 hebt die Produktion durch den intelligenten Einsatz von IT-Systemen und Kommunikations- netzwerken auf ein völlig neues Pro- duktivitäts- und Flexibilitätslevel. In der Vergangenheit standen dabei meistens die Anlagen und Maschinen sowie deren Vernetzung im Fokus, während die Mitarbeiter nur eine Randposition einnahmen. Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, dass der Mensch im Rahmen dieser Entwicklung immer stärker in den Mittelpunkt rückt. Hier setzt die Konferenz "Future of Work in Industry" an. Richard David Precht hält Eröffnungs-Keynote Zum Auftakt der Veranstaltung hält der Philosoph und Publizist Richard David Precht eine Keynote zum Thema "Die Digitale Revoluti- on: Wir dekorieren auf der Titanic die Liegestühle um". Er beleuch- tet, ob das mit der Digitalisierung einhergehende Ende der Leistungs- gesellschaft, wie wir sie kennen, überhaupt ein Verlust ist. Für ihn bedeutet die Digitalisierung vor allem die Chance, in Zukunft erfüll- ter und selbstbestimmter zu leben. Zugleich mahnt er, dass dafür jetzt die Weichen gestellt und unser Ge- sellschaftssystem konsequent ver- ändert werden müssen. Drei Themenstränge für fokussierten Austausch Diese Gedanken greift die Konfe- renz mit den drei Themensträngen Leadership, Skills und Tools auf. In Keynotes, Deep Dive Panels, Podi- umsdiskussionen und Best-Case- Präsentationen vermitteln namhafte Sprecher wie Janina Kugel, Arbeits- direktorin und Vorstandsmitglied Siemens, Kai Anderson, Partner bei Promerit, und Christiane Benner, zweite Vorsitzende der IG Metall, welche Kompetenzen und Fähigkei- ten Unternehmen sowie Belegschaft zukunftssicher aufstellen. Umso wichtiger ist es, sie auf dem Weg des Wandels mit- zunehmen und zu beteiligen. Let's get loud – Women in Industry Frauen sind in den Führungskrei- sen der Industrien noch immer un- terrepräsentiert. Deshalb stehen sie während der WomenPower am 4. und 5. April im Mittelpunkt auf der welt- größten Industriemesse. Unter dem Motto "Let´s get loud - Women in Industry! Empower. Create. Succeed" kommen rund 1 400 Frauen auf dem führenden Karrierekongress zusam- men, um gemeinsam in mehr als 40 praxisnahen Workshops und Best Cases aktuelle Entwicklungen und Herausforderungen der gegenwärti- gen und zukünftigen Arbeitswelt in ihrem Sinne mitzugestalten. Fokus auf MINT-Bereich: Women Tec Day und Preisverleihung Im Rahmen der WomenPow- er findet am Donnerstag, 4. April 2019, der "Women Tec Day" statt. Diskutiert werden dabei die The- men Arbeitswelt im Wandel, Female Leadership, Digitalisierung sowie Kompetenzen im Bereich Leadership und New Work. Der "Women Tec Day" richtet sich an Führungskräfte, High Potentials und Senior Professionals. Für Nachwuchsführungskräfte, Young Professionals und Studierende bietet der "Women Career Day" am Freitag, 5. April 2019, vertiefende Informationen und Live-Trainings rund um die Karriereplanung. Vie- le Frauen setzen sich stark für den MINT-Bereich ein. Um dieses außer- gewöhnliche Engagement sichtbar zu würdigen, wird am Donnerstag, 4. April 2019, ab 18.30 Uhr, im Rahmen der Networking Night der "Engineer Powerwoman Award" verliehen. His talk will highlight whether the end of the "achievement-oriented society" brought about by digitiza- tion is necessarily a bad thing. In his eyes, digitization means above all the opportunity to live a more fulfilling, self-determined life. At the same time, he warns that a clear strategy must be developed to accomplish this and that substantial changes to our social system will be required. Conference to focus on three thematic strands Picking up on these ideas, the Conference will focus on the three central thematic strands of leader- ship, skills and tools. In a series of keynotes, deep-dive panels, panel discussions and best-case presenta- tions, well-known speakers like Janina Kugel, Chief Human Resources Officer and Member of the Managing Board of Siemens, Kai Anderson, Partner at Promerit, and Christiane Benner, Dep- uty Chairperson of the IG Metall trade union, will present the expertise and skill sets required to make companies and their employees future-proof.
