KG Gustav-Werner-Straße 6 72636 Frickenhausen The 16th Blechexpo, international trade fair for sheet metal working, together with the 9th SchweissTec, international trade fair for joining technology, will inspire with fully booked halls and an impressive supporting program. On the first day of the fair, there will be beaming winners of the „best-Award 2023“. The trade fair duo Blechexpo/SchweissTec represents complete process sequences of modern and future-oriented sheet metal processing and is eagerly awaited. „We‘re ready to go,“ announces Georg Knauer, Blechexpo/SchweissTec project manager at trade fair organizer Schall. Nine fully booked halls and a wide-ranging, top-class supporting program will delight trade visitors. Highlights include the winning results of the „best-Award 2023“, which the industry can look forward to with great anticipation. The competition is now being held for the sixth time together with the trade magazines Blechnet and MM Maschinenmarkt. The organizers had defined five application categories analogous to the hall themes: Halls 1, 3, 5 and 9 house sheet metal, tube and profile processing. Halls 4 and 6 have stamping technologies as their theme. Hall 7 is home to cutting, joining and bonding technologies. Hall 8 focuses on press and forming technologies. And finally, Hall 10 deals with steel, metal service and surface technologies. In this way, each applicant was able to find the appropriate category for its highlight. A jury of experts with well-known representatives from the industry will be deciding on the winners in the next few days, who will receive their „best award“ in a ceremony on the afternoon of the first day of the trade show. Clearly structured hall layout, efficient trade show visit The newly structured and more clearly defined hall layout enables trade visitors to visit the trade fair efficiently. The Blechexpo/SchweissTec theme portfolio includes efficient process technologies, modern laser technology, fully automated robot-based sheet metal working machines, high-precision tools and equipment for punching, bending, folding and forming, and innovative micro waterjet cutting technologies. Trade visitors to Blechexpo/SchweissTec will experience the entire sheet metal processing process chain with a high level of practical relevance and in a pleasant working atmosphere. Here, suppliers and investment decision-makers will meet at eye level and tackle future-oriented, application-adapted solutions. Impressive, densely packed supporting program The trade exhibition in nine exhibition halls will be flanked by an impressive supporting program www.blechexpo-messe.de/messeprogramm. It will attract many trade visitors to Stuttgart and, thanks to the cutting-edge technical presentations and discussions, will have an impact far into everyday business life. At noon on the first day of the trade fair, the „Blechexpo Stahl Convent 2023“ will take place in the forum area in Hall 10; it will focus on „Challenges in the steel markets in 2023.“ The Convent is organized by the Stahl-Kommunikation agency. A „futureSteel“ congress has been prepared for the second day of the trade show in cooperation with Marketsteel Media from Düsseldorf. The daily „Exhibitor Forum“, which has enjoyed great popularity for years, has now been further expanded by the trade show organizer for trade visitors: For the first time at Blechexpo/SchweissTec 2023, top-class speakers from the exhibiting companies will give presentations on all days of the trade fair in various forums tailored to the theme structure of the halls: the Stamping Forum in Hall 4 (1FO-01), the SchweissTec Forum in Hall 7 (7515), the BEST Forum in Hall 9 (9315) and the Steel Forum in Congress West. In addition, further special forums will be held with the ZVEI, IBU and EFB associations on the third day of the trade fair, 09 November 2023. The special forums are a valuable addition to a visit to the trade fair; trade visitors benefit from upto-date expertise, inspiration and networking. Attendance is free of charge.
