Beispielsweise entwickelt sich mit der Digitalisierung der klassische Einkauf weg vom sta- tionären hin zum Onlinehandel. Damit wachsen die Anforderun- gen an die Verkehrsinfrastruk- tur in Ballungsräumen und da- mit auch an die Verkehrspolitik. Die beiden Megatrends bleiben die digitale Transformation und damit einhergehend die Etab- lierung von einheitlichen Stan- dards. Die Aussteller der transport logistic, die vom 9. bis 12. Mai auf dem Münchner Messegelän- de stattfindet, präsentieren In- novationen, um den genannten Herausforderungen zu begeg- nen. Know-how-Transfer findet zudem in insgesamt 48 Konfe- renzveranstaltungen statt. Alle Facetten der Logistik, Mobi- lität, IT und des Supply Chain Managements werden im Rah- menprogramm, zu dem mehr als 200 Fachexperten nach München kommen werden, dis- kutiert. Eröffnet wird die trans- port logistic 2017 durch den Bundesminister für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur Alexander Dobrindt. Größte Leistungsshow in der Logistikindustrie Robert Schönberger, Pro- jektgruppenleiter bei der Mes- se München, freut sich: „Die transport logistic schafft es wie keine andere Veranstaltung Logistik, Industrie und Handel zusammenzubringen, um die aktuellen Trends zu diskutieren und, um die Zukunft zu gestal- ten. Mit den Veranstaltungen, den Experten und den ausstel- lenden Unternehmen bieten wir unseren Fachbesuchern ein ein- zigartiges Programm.“ Auf 115.000 Quadratmetern Ausstellungsfläche – das ent- spricht rund 15 Fußballfeldern – werden über 2.000 Aussteller aus 60 Ländern die gesamte Bandbreite der Logistik präsen- tieren. Mit den messeeigenen Gleisen verwandelt sich ein Teil des Freigeländes in einen Bahnhof, auf dem namenhafte Unternehmen ihre Lokomotiven und Waggons ausstellen. Mit Län- derpavillons dabei sind un- ter anderem Bahrain, Belgien (Flandern/Wallonien), China, Estland, Frankreich, Griechen- land, Kroatien, Lettland, Lu- xemburg, Marokko, Österreich, Portugal, die Slowakei, Slowe- nien, Spanien und die Tschechi- sche Republik. Darüber hinaus präsentieren Aussteller im Rah- men von Häfen-Gemeinschafts- stände aus Italien, Finnland, Niederlande, Norwegen und Spanien ihre Dienstleistungen und Innovationen. Aber auch Deutschland ist auf der transport logistic wieder breit vertreten: Baden-Würt- temberg, Bayern, Berlin-Bran- denburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Mecklenburg-Vorpom- mern, Niedersachsen, Nordrein- westfahlen, Sachsen-Anhalt sowie das Saarland sind mit Gemeinschaftsbeteiligungen vor Ort. Logistics reinvents itself New challenges in logistics The business of logistics is moving ever faster and hav- ing to adapt to new conditions in the market. One example is the digitalization of shopping: The move is away from the high street and towards online sales. That steps up the requirements on the transport infrastructure in towns and cities and, as a result, also on transport policy. The two megatrends remain the digital transformation and, con- nected with this, the establish- ment of unified standards. The exhibitors at transport logistic, which takes place from May 9 to 12, 2017 at the Messe München exhibition center, will be presenting innovations that help master these challenges. Also at the fair, the supporting program, featuring 48 confer- ence events, offers a valuable platform for knowledge trans- fer. All the facets of logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management will be discussed in this pro-gram—for which over 200 experts in the field will be coming to Munich to ad-dress the trade audience. transport logistic 2017 is to be officially opened by the German Federal Minister of Transport and Digi- tal Infrastructure, Alexander Dobrindt. Biggest showcase of the logistics industry Robert Schönberger, Exhibi- tion Group Director at Messe München, is pleased: “Unlike any other event, transport lo- gistic manages to bring together the world of logistics, industry and trade, to discuss current events and to shape the future. With the events at this fair, the experts in attendance and the exhibiting companies, we offer our trade visitors a unique pro- gram.” Over 2,000 exhibitors from 60 countries will be showcasing the entire spectrum of products and services in the field of logistics, on a total of 115,000 square meters of exhibition space at the event—that´s equivalent to around 15 football pitches! And, on the exhibition center´s own rail tracks, a part of the open- air site is turned into a railway station, where leading compa- nies proudly display their loco- motives and wagons. transport logistic becomes even more international The upcoming edition of transport logistic will also fea- ture a record number of presen- tations by groups of exhibitors from both Germany and abroad. Among the country pavilions are ones from Austria, Bahrain, Bel- gium (Flanders/Wallonia), Chi- na, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg, Morocco, Portugal, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Spain. Also featured at transport logistic this year are a number of joint stands of companies involved in port operations: Ex- hibitors from Italy, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Spain will be presenting their services and innovations in this area. But Germany, too, is very well represented again at transport logistic: the different regions around the country—Baden- Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin- Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, Mecklen- burg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland and Saxony-Anhalt will all have their own joint stands at the show.
