AF S.p.A was establis-
hed in 1968 in Mon-
tecchio Maggiore,and
we started out by pro-
ducing dies and equipments.
A few years later, in Val Lio-
na, was found what is still our
current headquarters on 6000
sq m, which produces copper
tubes , iron and stainless steel
for heating and refrigerati-
on systems. Lately, two more
companies were found: A.m.s.
Spa and Silmav Spa.
Our products are the results of
advanced studies and technolo-
gies, accurate projects and qua-
lified staff. We realize moulds,
special equipments, samplings .
The Product quality is our most
important competitive edge,
this is why we strictly check
every manufacturing process, in
order to minimize the chance of
errors, to assure our customers a
top-quality service at every sta-
ge of the process, from the order
through to delivery.
The Design and prototyping
division
covers an area of about
2,000 sq. m. and is the living ex-
pression of the company’s know-
how.
The facility offers the greatest
added-value service for our cus-
tomers : we project and produce
dies, equipment and samples to
support processing carried out
by the whole Group.
The Copper pipe division
has 6,000 sq m of floor space,
housing the managerial offices,
admin and engineering depart-
ments and the factory floor.
Here we process copper pipes
from coils employing state-of-
the-art technologies that enable
us to meet any customer require-
ment in terms of heating, plum-
bing and cooling components.
The aim of the Heat ex-
changer division
is to give a
boost in terms of innovation and
financial savings, reducing ener-
gy consumption and environ-
mental pollution. This division
houses an area for pipe proces-
sing and another area for heat
exchangers.Continuous requests
from customers for a complete,
reliable product have prompted
us to invest in sheet metal pro-
cessing and coating by building
a new facility in the neighbou-
ring town of Noventa Vicentina
with about 5500 sq m of floor
space, appointed with the latest
generation machinery.

produces brass
fittings and stainless steel for
the automotive sector, heating
and air conditioning . The use
of mechanical instruments and
innovative precision electronic
equipment as X-ray for raw ma-
terial and 3D optical control,
and the use of advanced compu-
ter systems all over the system
management and production,
brought the company to achieve
high quality standards that will
meet the needs of our costumers.
SILMAV S.p.A.
is a company
founded in 1991 to enhance pro-
duction of the main company in
a few years and become an inde-
pendent production company de-
dicated to the heating industry.
It covers a total area of 12000
square meters including 6000
reserved for the production of
copper pipes. Silmav produces
copper tube that require special
galvanic treatments by taking
advantage from a specific pro-
cess which reduces production
time and raises the quality of
the product.

coprogetti began its
activity of PV module
production in the early
90s. Few time later the
company increased its targets
starting to create its own equip-
ment for the whole production
process focusing on its develop-
ment and manufacture.
The knowledge and the experi-
ence in the PV module manufac-
ture enabled Ecoprogetti to get
expanded in the customized solu-
tions meeting customer’s particu-
lar requirements.
Following the continuous
growth of the market trend, Eco-
progetti implemented and evolved
its technologies.
While the new design and the
new structure of the solutions
offered by Ecoprogetti make the
production process much easier
and reliable, the R&D activities are
able to develop new concepts that
match up with the latest available
technologies on the market.
For example, for its tabber
and stringer machine Ecoproget-
ti designed a special soldering
unit that is capable to easily
change and solder cells from 3
to 5 bus bar, such as the ETS700
and the ETS2100 stringer ma-
chines. Furthermore Ecoprogetti
created particular stringer ma-
chines that even allow to solder
cut cells (from 52x156mm to
52x15mm) like EVO3000 that is
able to solder small cells with
very low percentage of breakage
(<0,2%).
Thanks to its abnegation and
its attention to the details, Eco-
progetti has made many steps
forward with its equipment al-
ways providing new solutions
that fit with the target trends.
ECOLAYUP R, an automatic lay-
up station, is one of them. This
equipment has a robotic arm that
carefully picks the strings from a
flipper of the stringer machine and
after the inspection phase places
them on a glass that has already
been prepared with the EVA.
Speaking about improvements,
Ecoprogetti keeps on enhanc-
ing its ECOSUN PLUS, its LED sun
simulator.
This machine requires very low
maintenance and is capable to reach
50-million-pulse lifetime without
a single replacement. The different
types of LEDs have a spectrum of
AM 1.5 within a range of 200W/m2
to 1200W/m2 and allow a better re-
peatability of the tests than 99,5%.
Since 1998 Ecoprogetti has been
researching, designing and con-
structing turnkey photovoltaic pro-
duction machines and lines, every
time introducing the best solutions

ry step of the production process
