E
inen Überblick über das
Weltmarktangebot an
Bioprodukten bietet die
Anuga vom 7. bis 11.
Oktober 2017 in Köln. Zum
einen zeigt sie in der Anuga
Fachmesse „Anuga Organic“
ein konzentriertes Biospekt-
rum. Hier werden ausschließ-
lich Produkte dargestellt, für
die der Nachweis einer aner-
kannten, im Markt üblichen
Bio-Zertifizierung
vorgelegt
werden kann.
Zum anderen haben Anu-
ga-Aussteller in den anderen
Fachmessen ebenfalls die Mög-
lichkeit, auf ihre Bio-Produkte
hinzuweisen. Dies geschieht mit
Hilfe der Ausstellerdatenbank.
Unter dem Stichwort „Organic
Products“ lassen sich alle Aus-
steller mit diesem Angebot Anu-
ga-weit sortieren. Die Liste der
Unternehmen, die sich hier profi-
lierten, wurde im Laufe der letz-
ten Jahre stetig länger. Waren
es 2013 immerhin schon 1.796
Unternehmen mit Bioprodukten,
so meldeten sich 2015 schon
2.030 Anbieter mit diesem Pro-
duktangebot. Für die kommende
Messe wird ein weiterer Anstieg
erwartet.
Denn allein in der Anuga Orga-
nic gibt es einen hervorragenden
Anmeldestand: Rund 250 Unter-
nehmen werden wieder erwartet.
Sie stellen sowohl unter dem
Dach von Organisationen oder
Verbänden als auch als Einzel-
aussteller in der Anuga Organic
aus. Zu den auf der Anuga ver-
tretenen Bio-Verbänden gehören
Consorzio il Biologico (IT), Da-
nish Agriculture (DEN) und Na-
turland (DE).
Aus Deutschland beteiligt sich
in diesem Jahr eine wachsende
Zahl von Einzelausstellern, z. B.
Alb-Gold, Emils Bio-Manufaktur,
Ecofinia, Elbler, frizle, foodloo-
se, Followfood, Küchenbrüder,
My Chipsbox, Proviant, purefood,
Tropicai, Wechsler und Zabler.
Einen starken Auftritt haben
Aussteller aus Italien, so z. B.
Fratelli Damiano, Lauretana, Na-
tura Nuova, Polobio, Probios und
Sipa, Gleiches gilt für die Nieder-
lande mit DO-IT, Doens Food, De
Smaakspecialist, Spack, Tradin
Organic, Sanorice und Trouw. Aus
Belgien kommt Natur'Inov und
aus Frankreich das Unternehmen
Compagnie Biodiversité.
Einige Firmen legen ihren Fo-
kus auf vegane Lebensmittel z.
B. Das Eis, joy.foods, PureRaw,
Purya!, Tofutown, Topas und Ve-
ganz. Als Neuaussteller präsen-
tiert sich der bulgarische Anbie-
ter Roo’Bar, der auch schon auf
der ISM in Köln dabei war. Auch
vegane Produkte sind über die
ganze Anuga verteilt und lassen
sich, ebenso wie vegetarische
und fair gehandelte Produkte
über die Ausstellerdatenbank lo-
kalisieren.
Auch die Internationalität in
der Anuga Organic lässt eine
breit gefächerte Produktvielfalt
erwarten. So sind neben den ge-
nannten Nationen Belgien, Bul-
garien, Dänemark, Deutschland,
Frankreich, Italien und Nieder-
lande auch Anbieter aus China,
Estland, Griechenland, Lettland,
Marokko, Österreich, Rumänien,
Ungarn und den USA vertreten.
Erwartungen weckt auch das
Partnerland der Anuga, das in
diesem Jahr Indien ist. Der
Subkontinent ist seit vielen Ge-
nerationen dem Bioanbau eben-
so verpflichtet wie dem Thema
vegane Ernährung. Demenspre-
chend sind zahlreiche Produkte
aus dem Biospektrum für die
Anuga angekündigt, u. a. Tee,
Gewürze und Hülsenfrüchte.
Erneut wird es in der Anuga
Organic die Sonderschau „Anuga
Organic Market“ geben. Hier wird
aus der Theorie erlebbare Praxis,
wenn in einem attraktiven Um-
feld Bioprodukte Supermarktreif
präsentiert werden. Im Fokus
sollen in diesem Jahr Frische-
Produkte stehen, also Milch- und
Molkerei- sowie Fleischprodukte.
Auch Obst und Gemüse können
hier ihr frisches Potenzial zei-
gen, z. B. im Hinblick auf Con-
venience, also vorgeschnittene
Salate und Obstangebote und
ähnliches. Die Servicetheke und
der Thekenaufbau werden eben-
falls thematisiert.
Auch das Weinregal wird mit
rund 30 Weinen aus Bioproduk-
tion gut bestückt sein.
Die Sonderschau „Anuga Or-
ganic Market“ hat sich auf den
letzten Anuga-Veranstaltungen
nicht nur als Ideenbörse be-
währt, sondern auch als Kontakt-
plattform zwischen Anbieter und
Nachfrager. So nutzen viele Aus-
steller die Sonderschau erfolg-
reich für eine Zweitplatzierung.
Insgesamt werden hier zwischen
1.500 und 2.000 Produkte zu se-
hen sein.
Eine weitere Sonderschau mit
Biopotenzial ist die Präsentati-
on „Anuga OliveOil Market“. Sie
wird erneut dem zentralen Mes-
seboulevard im Anuga-Gelände
realisiert. Zahlreiche Olivenöle
unterschiedlichster
Herkunft
werden hier zur Verkostung an-
geboten. Fachleute aus der Oli-
venöl-Branche unterstützen mit
Hintergrundinformation zu An-
bau, Sorten und Herstellung an.
Am 8. Oktober 2017 findet da-
rüber hinaus ein Olivenöl-Kon-
gress statt.
Ein sehr wichtiger Programm-
punkt im Rahmenprogramm der
Anuga ist das Bio-Kompetenz-
Zentrum. Es ist nicht nur ein Vor-
tragsforum von und für Fachleu-
te aus der Branche, sondern auch
Networking- und Diskussions-
plattform für alle, die sich mit
dem Thema Bio auseinanderset-
zen. Einer der Schwerpunkte ist
in diesem Jahr der Einsatz von
Pestiziden und die Möglichkeiten
des ökologischen Anbaus. Die
Rohstoffbeschaffung als wich-
tiger Teil der Lebensmittelket-
te, Vertrauensbildung zwischen
Händler und Kunde, Direktver-
marktung ab Bio-Bauernhof und
Vermarktungsstrategien
sind
weitere Themen. Die Veranstal-
tungen des Bio-Kompetenzzent-
rums finden am Montag, 9. und
Dienstag, 10. Oktober statt.
Über die Anuga
Koelnmesse veranstaltet die
Anuga in Zusammenarbeit mit
dem Bundesverband des Deut-
schen Lebensmittelhandels e.V.,
Berlin, (BVLH). Weitere ideelle
Träger sind die Bundesvereini-
gung der Deutschen Ernährungs-
industrie und der Deutsche Ho-
tel- und Gaststättenverband.
Anuga Organic
Market:
Idea exchange for
the organic trade
T
he Anuga from 7 to 11
October 2017 in Colog-
ne offers an overview of
the global market offer
of organic products. On the one
hand, it shows a concentrated
spectrum of organic products
in the Anuga trade show "Anu-
ga Organic". Here, exclusively
products are represented, which
carry an approved organic certi-
fication that is a standard on the
market.
On the other hand, Anuga ex-
hibitors also have the opportunity
to draw attention to their organic
products in the other trade shows.
This occurs with the aid of the ex-
hibitor database. Under the key-
word "Organic Products", all exhib-
itors that supply organic products
can be sorted Anuga-wide. The list
of companies that present their
products here has grown constantly
over the course of the past years.
Whereas in 2013 there were indeed
1,796 companies, who presented
organic products, in 2015 already
2,030 exhibitors with this offer of
products were represented. Further
growth is expected at the coming
trade fair.
Because there is already an ex-
cellent number of registrations
alone in the Anuga Organic seg-
ment: Around 250 companies are
expected to exhibit again. They are
exhibiting both under the umbrella
of organisations or associations
and as individual exhibitors at
Anuga Organic.
The organic associations repre-
sented at Anuga include Consorzio
il Biologico (IT), Danish Agricul-
ture (DEN) and Naturland (DE).
From Germany a growing number
of individual exhibitors are partici-
pating this year such as Alb-Gold,
Emils Bio-Manufaktur, Ecofinia, El-
bler, frizle, foodloose, Followfood,
Küchenbrüder, My Chipsbox, Provi-
ant, purefood, Tropicai, Wechsler
and Zabler.
There are a high number of ex-
hibitors from Italy, i.e. such as Fra-
telli Damiano, Lauretana, Natura
Nuova, Polobio, Probios and Sipa.
The same applies for the Neth-
erlands with DO-IT, Doens Food,
De Smaakspecialist, Spack, Tra-
din Organic, Sanorice and Trouw.
Natur'Inov from Belgium is partici-
pating and from France Compagnie
Biodiversité.
Several companies are placing
their focus on the trend theme ve-
gan food, for instance Das Eis, joy.
foods, PureRaw, Purya!, Tofutown,
Topas and Veganz. The Bulgar-
ian supplier Roo'Bar, who already
exhibited at ISM in Cologne is a
further new exhibitor. Vegan prod-
ucts are also distributed across the
whole of Anuga and together with
vegetarian and fair trade products
these can be localised via the ex-
hibitor database.
The level of internationality of
the exhibitors at Anuga Organic is
also expected to offer a wide range
of product diversity. In addition
to the cited nations Belgium, Bul-
garia, Denmark, Germany, France,
Italy and the Netherlands, suppli-
ers from China, Estonia, Greece,
Latvia, Morocco, Austria, Romania,
Hungary and the USA are repre-
sented.
The partner country of Anuga,
which is India this year, also arous-
es expectations. The sub-continent
has been commited to organic cul-
tivation as well as to the theme
vegan diet for many generations.
Accordingly, numerous products
from the organic product range
have been announced for Anuga,
i.e. tea, spices and pulses.
The special event "Anuga Or-
ganic Market" is also going to take
place again in the scope of Anuga
Organic. Here, theory becomes
tangible practice when organic
products that are ready to sell in
supermarkets are presented in an
attractive environment. The focus
will be on fresh products this year,
i.e. milk and dairy products as well
as meat products. Fruit and veg-
etables can also show their fresh
potential here, i.e. with regards to
convenience, i.e. pre-cut salads and
fruit and similar items. The topic
of service counters and counter
design will also be addressed. The
wine shelf will also be well-stocked
with around 30 wines from organic
production.
The special event "Anuga Organ-
ic Market" has also not only proved
to be an idea exchange at the last
Anuga events, but also a contact
platform that brings the sup-
ply and demand together. In this
way, many exhibitors successfully
use the special event as a second-
ary placement. In total, between
1,500 and 2,000 products will be
on display here.
The presentation "Anuga OliveOil
Market" is a further special event
with organic potential. It will once
again be staged on the central
trade fair boulevard of the Anuga
grounds. Numerous olive oils of a
wide range of origins will be offered
for sampling here. Experts from the
olive oil industry will support the
format with background informa-
tion on cultivation, varieties and
production. Furthermore, an olive
oil congress will be held on 8 Oc-
tober 2017.
A very important programme
item of Anuga's supporting pro-
gramme is the Organic Competence
Centre. It is not only a lecture fo-
rum by and for experts from the
industry, but also a networking and
discussion platform for all those
who address the theme organic.
One of the focuses this year is
the implementation of pesticides
and the opportunities of ecological
cultivation. The raw material pro-
curement as an important part of
the food chain, building trust be-
tween the dealer and the customer,
direct marketing from the organic
farm and marketing strategies are
further themes. The events of the
Organic Competence Centre will
take place on Monday, 9 October
and Tuesday, 10 October.
