STEINLE
Industriepumpen GmbH
D
ie Firma Steinle In-
dustriepumpen GmbH
nimmt erstmalig an der
„drinktec“ teil und stellt ihr
umfassendes Programm an
Pumpen für die Getränkein-
dustrie vor.
Hier sind besonders die hygi-
enischen Pumpen der schwe-
dischen Firma Tapflo zu se-
hen. Diese umfassen polierte
Edelstahl-Kreiselpumpen und
Druckluftmembranpumpen.
Die Kreiselpumpen werden als
Blockpumpen mit hygienischer
Motorabdeckung in normalsau-
gender und sogar selbstansaugen-
der Bauweise vorgestellt. Optional
sind Heizmäntel und verschiedene
Anschlusssysteme lieferbar.
Alle Pumpen werden aus
AISI316L in elektropolierter
Ausführung geliefert.
Auch die Druckluftmembran-
pumpen in hygienischer Aus-
führung sind in vielfältigen Mo-
difikationen erhältlich. Diese
Pumpen werden vorwiegend für
viskose Medien eingesetzt.
In den Fällen, wo hochviskose
Medien gefördert werden sollen
oder wo es besonders auf star-
kes Saugvermögen ankommt,
können die Schlauchpumpen der
französischen Firma Albin einge-
setzt werden. Aus diesem Pro-
gramm wird auch eine spezielle
Pumpe mit einklappbarem Rotor
für den CIP-Prozess vorgestellt.
Schuler Pressen GmbH
LIGHTWEIGHT BOTTLES AT ITS BEST.
Production solutions for DWI aluminum bottles.
L
eading bottlers are in-
creasingly using “DWI
Bottle Cans” as pre-
mium packaging, which al-
lows for improved freedom
of design. As Drawing and
Wall Ironing (DWI) is used in
production of bottle cans,
they require significantly
less raw materials than tra-
ditional extruded bottles.
It is in this context that the
world’s largest press manu-
facturer, Schuler, has partne-
red up with Japanese specia-
lists in DWI Bottle Cans, TMC.
TMC is a market leader in
machinery for the produc-
tion of aluminum bottles and
has developed a machine to
form bottle necks (“UlFor-
mer”) with ambitious tool
technology. They are defi-
ning the individual design
of metal packaging with this
machine.
Schuler and TMC
are exhibiting at the
Drinktec trade convention
in hall A1 booth 130.

produziert ECA-Sys-
teme zur in-Situ-Pro-
duktion von dem pH-
neutralen Desinfektionsmittel
INNOWATECH Anolyte®.
Anolyte, z.B. hergestellt mit
einer Aquadron GXL-Anlage, eig-
net sich hervorragend für die
Behandlung von Trink-, Pro-
zess- und Kühlwasser, für die
Desinfektion über CIP-Anlagen,
in Flaschenwaschmaschine und
Rinser, sowie zur permanenten
Füllerdesinfektion (Einsparung
Kaltsterilisationsmittel).
Als Innovation wird ein neues
System zum Abspülen von abge-
füllten Flaschen vorgestellt, bei
dem ein Großteil des verwende-
ten Frischwassers im Kreislauf
gefahren und wiederverwendet
wird. Der Wasserverbrauch an
Flaschenduschen ist meist sehr
hoch und summiert sich pro Ab-
füllanlage auf bis zu 8.000 m³
pro Jahr! Mit dem INNOWATECH
HyClean Concept® kann der
Wasserverbrauch um bis zu 70%
reduziert werden.
INNOWATECH ist als autorisier-
ter Wirkstoff- und Anlagenprodu-
zent in die Artikel 95-Liste nach
EU-Biozid-Verordnung (EU Nr.
528/2012) aufgenommen.

I
NNOWATECH is producing
innovative ECA-systems
for the in-Situ-production
of the pH-neutral disin-
fectant INNOWATECH Anolyte®.
Anolyte, produced with an
Aquadron GXL system, is eminently
suitable for the treatment of drink-
ing-, process- and cooling water, for
the disinfection over CIP-systems,
in bottle washers and rinser’s, as
well as in beverage and beer filling
plants.
As an innovation a new sys-
tem for rinsing of closed beverage
containers (glass and PET bottles,
cans, etc.) will be presented at
the Drinktec 2017, where the rins-
ing water can be reused. However,
usually such bottle showers con-
sume tremendous amounts of wa-
ter (up to 8 000m³ per year) and
thus cause high operating costs.
INNOWATECH HyClean Concept®
Bottle Showers allow for reducing the
water consumption by up to 70%.
INNOWATECH is listed according
Art. 95 Biocidal Products Regula-
tion as an authorized Substance &
Product Supplier for Product Groups
1-5 of biocide list at ECHA (Euro-
pean Chemical Agency).

E
ven though effluents
from the food & bever-
age production can be
biodegraded easily, the
demands for the discharge quali-
ties or water re-use have risen in
the last years and are often very
difficult to reach with conven-
tional activated sludge plants,
SBR‘s or MBBR‘s.
In the aspects of operation
costs, space requirement, auto-
mated operation, reliability when
treating varying loads, tolerance
for cleaning agents and disinfect-
ants, as well as odorlessness, mod-
ern high-performance industrial
effluent treatment plants offer
better results.
But, how effective can the best
effluent treatment technology be
if the plant builder has no or only
little experience with treating
complex wastewaters and is not
aware of the special needs of in-
dustrial clients? Particularly in this
market, where suppliers of waste-
water treatment plants come and
go or change their name, caution
is advisable: a reliable supplier
can present several reference in-
stallations and customer reference
letters – for new, but also for old
plants that are in operation for at
least 10 years. This is an important
factor to assure a well-working, ef-
fective treatment plant and also a
lasting relationship with your sup-
plier. This saves you future money,
should you ever require treatment
plant modifications or upgrades.
A good supplier will discuss
with you pros and cons of differ-
ent process combinations for your
particular case and consider exist-
ing installations – not just sell you
whatever is easy and fashionable
to sell. The background should be
for complex industrial effluent,
not conventional sewage treat-
ment, and the best suited solu-
tion should be in the foreground,
not the applied technology itself.
A supplier that is normally do-
ing large plants might not be
able to adequately calculate such
smaller industrial effluent treat-
ment plants. Ideally, the supplier
has practical experience also with
operating small wastewater treat-
ment plants and knows ways to ef-
ficiency optimise or upgrade your
existing effluent treatment.
Furthermore, a supplier that has
only one or two technologies, even
though in different configurations,
will naturally try to make your ap-
plication fit to his product – which
certainly is the wrong way around!
It is better to combine the right
process technologies in a smart
way to fulfil your priorities in the
right order, creating a tailored so-
lution to your particular task.
WEHRLE Umwelt is a specialist
for complex effluent treatment
since 35 years with over 300 in-
stallations worldwide. The vast
range of technologies allows pro-
cess combinations to almost every
task. Being a specialised company,
we consult, engineer and build
plants as well as operate, optimise
and upgrade existing installations,
even if not built by us.
